Ken Oliver June Challenge Day 6

It's day 6 of sharing projects from the team on our June Challenge. This months theme is 'Vacation' and you have a chance to join in too and win a pack of Ken Oliver Color Burst.

To participate create a 'Vacation' themed project using Ken Oliver products along with any other products and mediums you choose.  To submit you can either email your entry to sharon@kenolivercrafts.com, post to Facebook and tag #kenoliverjunechallenge or add your link to the project in the comments at the bottom of this post.  Deadline for Submissions is July 12th.

Welcome to day 7 of the May Challenge, we will be sharing projects by our Creative Team for their monthly challenge.  

The theme this month is 'May Flowers' and the to make it a 'light' challenge they could use any Ken Oliver Craft products alongside products from ANY other manufacturer

Buffy St John from the creative team has had a preview of the new range of Liquid Metals and Caribbean Color Burst that will be available to buy soon, today she has created a 'Hello' card.

Hi Everybody!

Buffy here with you today to share a sweet and simple "Hello" card.

I had a blast playing with the new Caribbean and Liquid Metals Color Burst sets!

The new Caribbean colors are even more bright, beautiful and oh so transparent!

Here are the Color Burst colors that I used

(I have listed them in their color family as well as in the order I used them, Liquid Metals will be available soon)

Alizarin Crimson, Merlot, Tangerine (believe it or not!), Metallic Rose (Liquid Metals), Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Sepia, Yellow Gold (Liquid Metals), Metallic Saffron (Liquid Metals), Chartreuse, Sepia, Metallic Jade (Liquid Metals)

I first stamped the image with StazOn (Black) and then went into the image with clear water.

Continuing with the Birthday team Krista Riley is back on the blog today with another great idea using the Pegz Stamps. Her little boy Aedan's 6th Birthday was this week and the party theme was Dinosaurs.  Check out Krista's blog here for more details.

Silly Monster layout using PegZ Stamps

Creative Team Co-ordinator Krista Reilly has been getting creative with our PegZ Stamps, these stamps  allow you to create words and phrases to stamp on layouts, cards, gift tags and more with the Uppercase Set of Pegz Clickable Letterz Stamps by Ken Oliver. Simply click any of the 36 letters together and then you're ready to stamp. The characters are 1/4" tall. This set coordinates with the Symbols and Numbers Set 

Krista has used them with the Click It Ink Pads on this super cute layout for her son who has just celebrated his Birthday, Happy Birthday Aedan !.

Cherished Moments with the Hometown Collection

Diana Hetherington from the Creative Team has created this great great layout using the Hometown Collection, PegZ Stamps and of course the indispensable Click It Ink Pads.

A little, let’s get back to my roots, kind of posting to share with you all today!

now don’t get me wrong, Color Burst and all things inky will be back on my agenda in the very near future, but how could I not resist playing with Ken’s Hometown Cottage Collection!

Every little piece was inked with the Click It ink pads in Lamp Black (love how they are flexible to go around anything!) and then glued and or sewn to my page.

Color Burst Castle Collage on Wood

Creative Team member Kimberly Jones has created on wood today using Color Burst, 'Lamp Black' Click it Ink and  'Pegz Stamps'.  Full instructions are available on her blog here.
