Color Burst Fox Card using Stick It

Stick It is perfect for many craft uses and in particular for Die Cutting, it gives you precise adhesion with no mess or fuss, apply it to the back of your papers, use your favorite dies and the resulting die cut pieces are ready to use, no drying time and instant adhesion.

Creative Team member Jeanne Streiff had made this fantastic Color Burst Fox card for us today, isn't it cute !

Jeanne Says:

I used Color Burst (Burnt Orange/Sepia combo for the head and tummy and Fuschia/Burnt Orange combo for the ears).
All of the Color Burst pieces used Stick-it adhesive and then were die cut to paper piece over the die cut card base.

Fox die is from Sizzix (660774 Fox #2)

2015 Photo Folio

Hello and a very Happy New Year.  Starting off 2016 today we feature Creative Team Member Buffy St John who has created a truly memorable Photo Folio to commemorate 2015 and she shares with us not only pictures but a video too!.

Buffy says:
Well it looks like another year has come and gone...where does the time go?
Every year I create a photo journal of the year that is ending; to record memories, visits with family, my gardens and the classes that I have taught as well as taken...(yes, I take a lot of classes!)

Today I would like to share a Photo Folio that I have created using

I love this collection pack, it has 2 sheets each of beautiful images plus 2 sheets of double sided 4x6 cards for journaling PLUS a sheet of beautiful matching ephemera!
I backed the ephemera sheet with a sheet of Stick It and cut out the pieces to use within the project.
I used every scrap of this collection in this project.

The stamps in these sets are beautiful and crisp, and I use Lamp Black Click It to insure a perfectly stamped image.

'Hometown Christmas' Inspired Card Collection

Creative Team member Giovana Smith shares with us today a set of magical and charming Christmas Cards using the Hometown Christmas Collection.

Giovana says:

Hello friends, Giovana here with a brand new set of Christmas cards. I think choosing one design and mass producing it makes it a lot easier when it comes to batch making your cards, especially at this time of the year when you don't have much time.

For this set I have chosen my favorite papers and ink from the Ken Oliver Crafts range and I promise you, they are super easy to create!

One of the pages that I have used is from the Hometown Christmas collection, this page has 6 small images (2" x 3" each), so first I cut them all out, then I matted them all with black card stock. Next I added die-cut frames in gold, silver and red to really help pop the images. For extra effect I added shaved ice to the bottom of each image to give them all little bit of bling.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Hometown Christmas Set 1  clear Stamps using the Lamp Black 'Click It' Ink Pad.

As a final touch I added a piece of 'Stick It' to the back of the patterned paper (the one with the musical sheet) and cut six .5" strips and added one to the bottom of each card.
And that's it!

Hope you like them!

Photo Frame Page using 'Stick It'

Today Creative Team coordinator Krista Riley used  'Stick it' and 'Color Burst' with  her Imagine That Page Parcel Kit to create this fantastic Christmas photo frame page.  Full instructions are available on her blog here.

Krista Says:

I love Christmas and what a better way to showcase all the magic of the holiday than with a Glittered Stick It Die Cut and Color Burst Tree!
The use of Micro Fine Glitter on the Stick It Adhesive covered die cut sparkles like the snow on Christmas Morning And the techniques used for the tree give it that realistic texture that will make you feel like you are looking at your own Christmas Tree!

I hope this brings you Christmas Cheer and inspires you to play with Stick It Adhesive and Color Bursts by Ken Oliver Crafts!
